I’m a little disappointed. Large black clouds were heading in. Even saw lightening. Thunder rolled. Then it moved away, around us. No rain. No exciting storm. No relief from the humidity. Thank goodness for air conditioning! The thunderstorm warning is in effect for another 3 hours…still a chance!

I painted this during the non-storm storm, trying to recreate the dark blue sky but it turned out more purple than blue.

This beauty opened up to the world today in my flower garden

It was started indoors in early spring. Happy to see it blooming!
