I have to say, in hindsight, I’m very grateful for the crappy weather we have had since last November. All that cold, ice, snow and rain have really made me appreciate the Sunny warm days of summer! Only a few this far but I’m optimistic!
Today was spent outdoors. All afternoon! Working, puttering, in my flower garden. Such a beautiful way to spend my day.
I’m on vacation until July 2 and it really makes a difference this weekend, knowing I have more than two days to get all I want, or need, done. There’s a freedom in that knowing.
As the sun was beginning it’s descent, I shut the sprinkler off and decided to take some pics of the flowers. Lucky for me, the flowers had droplets, the sun was reflecting and the garden was amazing! I took lots of shots, playing with the different settings. This is tonight’s photo of the day:

While tidying the bathroom today, the shower curtain caught my eye. It’s a light blue curtain with shells, lighthouses, seahorses, and beach scenes. One in particular caught my eye and I thought it would make a good painting of the day.
