What a beautiful, picture perfect, summer day! I took a couple of work breaks on the veranda, sipping water, watching nature…filling my soul!
I wasn’t active with my camera, so found myself scrambling at the last moment. Thankfully Mother Nature lent a hand with a spectacular sunset that just keeps on giving! It’s 20 after 9 and the reds are deepening, blending into the oranges. I’m in awe!
I had a little trouble finding the setting that captured the view. This one was close, although a little darker than it actually was.
Tonight’s painting took a bit of reflection. Do I want a blue sky? A sunset? A landscape? A flower?
Then red popped into my head. I started with a red sky…which extended down to the bottom of the page…perhaps a reflection? and the rest just unfolded.
