Oh what a perfect summer day! I worked on the veranda for awhile until the black flies found me and began feasting on my neck!
A lovely summer rain began at the end of the day, bring a cool down with a gentle cooling breeze. So peaceful. I love a rainy night. So do the plants in the garden!
Tonight’s beachscape sunset is an ode to our upcoming Caribbean cruise! It’s booked!!! Happy cruise dancing 💃 going on. It’s been five years since my last cruise to the Caribbean. So looking forward to it.
Today’s photo turned out to be a great opportunity to practice for the airshow this Fall. Each summer, a C130 flies around the house for a day, flying by over and over and over again. Usually by the third flyby I’ve managed to grab my camera, zoom lens attached, run out into the yard and grab a half decent photo. Grateful I’m usually teleworking when we flies by.
