Oh, what a marvellous day! Sunny and warm. A real beautiful June day. I had a tight deadline so wasn’t able to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. But I did manage to get outside during my lunch break, do a few chores and take some pictures.
I was thrilled to see one of the perennials I planted last weekend is blooming! Aren’t Columbines gorgeous?
I left my painting to the absolute last minute, 10 minutes before I was to head out the door to my oil painting class! I wasn’t sure what to paint but knew I wanted a blue sky. I’m very happy with this sky and how the entire painting turned out.
Tonight was my seventh oil painting class. My painting is coming along. I worked on the background, blending in the colours.
