What a fantastic day!

It started off like this:

And continued going up all day.

There’s something to be said about working on Friday’s. I usually telework so I get a jumpstart on my weekend, bypassing traffic. On those rare Fridays I go into the office, it’s a real treat. Everyone is relaxed and laidback.

I painted during my lunch break. Didn’t have a clue of what to paint. Had a look through the photos on my phone, saw one I liked – photo 138/365 which is a turkey vulture I photographed last Saturday – and went to work.

I took the bus today – really enjoying the break from traffic but still finding it difficult to get up at 5 am! – and had an errand to run after work. Mom just happened to be on her way home, reached out to me and next thing we know we’re sitting in a booth at one of our old haunts for supper!
