Oh what a day, what a wonderful day! Sunshine, light breeze, 18-20 degrees Celsius. It was perfect!
I was still feeling unwell this morning so opted to work from home, giving me an extra 2 hours to sleep, which helped.
I took advantage of the weather this afternoon by working outside on the veranda. A wonderful spot for getting those creative juices flowing! Hearing the birds singing and chirping! Everybody was back at the feeders today: rose-breasted grosbeak, the two Baltimore orioles were drinking the nectar, a hairy woodpecker dropped by, and I’m almost positive I saw two brown thrashers…but by the time I got my camera they were gone…so I’m not 100 positive!
This evening I spent some time weeding my flower gardens and just enjoying the beautiful evening. It’s been a long time coming!!!
Tonight’s sunset was very soft and subtle.

While sitting on the veranda this evening I was taken with the flowers in this container

So I painted it
