10 May 2019 Happy birthday Nanie!
What a splendidly rainy day! Downpour type rain. A perfect day to wear my cheery yellow rain coat! This coat makes me smile. Actually a woman approached me today to say how beautiful and cheery my coat is!
I tried hard to stay cheery while sitting in traffic on my way home this afternoon. 49 minutes to move a distance that would normally take 1 minute! Needless to say, after an hour, I had enough! I turned around, headed back into town, found a nice restaurant and had a nice, quiet, and long dinner, stretching it as long as I could to avoid more traffic. It worked as I got home in under an hour!
This tree caught my eye.
You know that voice in your head that whispers you’re not good enough or it’s too difficult…don’t bother. Well that voice, who has been winning of late, was eradicated this evening. I’ve been wanting to paint pansies but believed they’d be too hard so why even try. Well, tonight I decided to try and if it worked, well great and if not…practice can only help!
I’m very happy with how they turned out!
