365…116

26 April 2019

A rainy day made better with a cuddle and a Tim’s run.

The peepers started last night. Concrete signs of spring…it’s a ritual…arrival of the spring and summer birds like the red-winged blackbirds and robins, the peepers, the geese, green grass, crocuses and tulips, then the black flys and mosquitoes!

I’ve run out of watercolour paper so have started cutting up the larger sheets into smaller sizes. I like the torn page look!

I like the softness of watercolours and especially like paintings line this one.

Today’s photo of a red-winged black bird took a little doing. He spent a good part of the day calling out to me. I tried several times to get his photo but he flew away whenever I reached for my camera. Eventually he posed for a few shots.
