💯 days = 💯 photos and 💯 paintings!!!
Wow. That went fast. Almost a third of 2019 is in the bag. I’ve documented it with a photo and a painting a day. I haven’t missed a day – came close a couple of times. I did miss some blog posts and am trying harder to keep up with writing every night.
Tomorrow I start an oil painting class. I’m so looking forward to trying oils! Don’t imagine I’ll be creating a painting a day in oil for some time but maybe my mid-summer. (Bob Ross is my painting hero after all. 😉)
I painted today’s painting at work during my lunch break. Such a peaceful and enjoyable way to spend it. The painting is inspired by a willow tree and a frozen puddle in my yard. I was taken with it last night, took a few photos to capture the light and essence then used it as a guide.

Photo of the day
As I was getting ready for work this morning, I kept glancing at the sky, watching the sun rise, the colours reflecting on the river, the birds flying by…a real beautiful scene.
