Have you ever had that moment where something catches your eye and you try to capture it but it just doesn’t match what caught you in the first place.

Standing in the kitchen this morning, I looked out the window and something caught my eye. I’m not sure if it was the colour of the sky, the way the trees were highlighted against the colour. The shapes, shades, hues…a combination or the whole scene. There was just something so beautiful about what I was looking at. I grabbed my camera, stepped onto the veranda and took half a dozen shots, playing with the iso.

Didn’t quite capture the essence of the moment and it didn’t help that I couldn’t pinpoint exactly what I was so taken with in that moment.
