Awesome day today! Sun and blue sky for a good part of it…the calm before the storm!
As I sat down to paint this evening, I had the vision of evergreen trees, tall and mighty against a dark night sky.

This morning I watched a red-winged black bird sitting near the feeder and I could see his breath in the cold morning air.
