What a day for weather! Cloudy, sunny, blue sky with huge fluffy white clouds, holy wind, grey sky, rain, sunshine and blue sky and more wind!
The power went off for a couple of hours…just say I started supper. I was roasting a chicken breast to throw into a soup. I transferred the chicken to the bbq then got the side burner going to finish it all up. Thank goodness for a backup plan!
I was struck by how quiet the house became with no electric current running through it. So peaceful. It’s funny how we tune out the daily regular noise.
I watched “icebergs” float by this morning, a yearly treat. Looks like the “locals” also stopped to enjoy the view!
