Another sunny one!
I woke up at 7 am – which is a great thing because I forgot to set my alarm! – rolled over, looked out my bedroom window at the sky…happy that it’s no longer dark at 7 in the morning, and then I saw it. Big, bright, orange-yellow, and full! The full moon setting.
Needless to say I grabbed my camera and took dozens of shots, after feeding my two starving cats of course. They think they’re starving. They act like they haven’t eaten in months. Funny felines.

I had a busy day at work, followed by a pleasantly full evening. I started with a snowshoe around the property, taking pictures here and there and filling up the bird feeders. After supper, I made a few sheets of homemade seed paper, then finished my evening off with a watercolour painting.
This morning’s full moon setting was my inspiration for tonight’s painting.

I’ve packed my travel painting kit in the event I’m delayed at work again like last week! Chances of a repeat are pretty slim but better to be prepared!
