Had a great day today. Went for a walk during my lunch, with my camera in hand and took some cool shots. Also had time to walk the labyrinth. I love teleworking!
But surprisingly, although many of the photos turned out and were contenders for the photo of the day, at least until this happened… there was a significant amount of paint on my brush when I placed it in the water. Love what happened next!

For the painting of the day, I ran out of the smaller sized watercolour paper, so I pulled a page out of this really nice watercolour booklet/binder. The edges of the paper have torn holes but I’m sure it will be fine if I put a mat over it. The paper is bigger than I’m used to, so it was a little daunting to paint tonight.
Not sure what or how to fill the page up, I browsed through a watercolour kit guidebook and found a scene I liked. It was a challenge filling in the sky and grassy areas…so much area to cover! (I need to drop by the art store on the way home tomorrow!)
It’s cute, but not my favourite. I’ll keep practicing!
